Asssistance call point at Helsinki Airport
Ilmailualan Unioni IAU has announced there may be a stoppage, which, if it takes place, will affect the services for passengers requiring assistance at the Helsinki Airport.

Stoppage time:

31/03/2018 5 am - 8 am and 2 pm – 5 pm

The service for passengers requiring assistance will be handled during the stoppage by special arrangements, but in spite of these arrangements, there may be congestion in the service and the situation may cause delays for some flights.

Passengers who have need for assistance services on the times listed above are asked to contact their airline or travel agent well in advance Advance registration is important so that special arrangements during the stoppage may be scaled as well as possible.

The potential stoppage does not affect the escort service of children travelling alone or the assistance or escort services subject to charge that have been ordered via the VIP services.

Finavia will do everything we can to ensure smooth travelling even during the stoppage. Finavia would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to passengers.

The reason for the situation is a collective agreement dispute between IAU and the service provider, Lassila&Tikanoja.
