Car park P5 near Terminal 2 at Helsinki Airport is a safe, covered place to store your boat and vehicle this winter. Drop off your vehicle in a convenient manner and take the train back home.

Airport operator Finavia has opened the P5 car park exceptionally for the winter storage of boats and vehicles during this winter season. The car park near Helsinki Airport, next to excellent transport connections, offers a safe, covered and guarded storage.

“Exceptional times create new solutions, and we have to think about things differently. This era produces innovations. Now, we can offer a high-quality storage for boats and vehicles,” explains Director Jukka Isomäki, who is responsible for the development of the airport’s ground traffic at Finavia.

After dropping off your vehicle, the car park has good transport connections to anywhere in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area by train and bus.

Isomäki says that the service has been requested before, but it has not been possible to realise it due to insufficient capacity.

“This enables us to serve an entirely new customer group. Because of COVID‑19, we have more space than usual this winter. Normally, this would not be possible.”

The maximum height of vehicles and boats left in storage is two metres. Finavia’s customer service will provide you with all the information you need as you make your reservation. The winter storage ends on 31 May 2021 at the latest.

Further information about winter storage is available from Finavia’s parking website.
