Kokkola-Pietarsaari Airport is opening a connection to Sweden after a break of a few years.

The Swedish airline Amapola Flyg will open the route from Kokkola-Pietarsaari Airport to Arlanda Airport in Stockholm on 2 May. The flight connection travels via Kramfors Airport.

“We warmly welcome Amapola Flyg to Kokkola-Pietarsaari Airport! This new connection to Sweden will make travelling smoother for both business and leisure travellers – both to Sweden and further to European destinations,” says Petri Vuori, Director in charge of route development at Finavia.

The new route will initially be flown four times a week. The Arlanda–Kokkola-Pietarsaari route via Kramfors will be operated from Monday to Thursday and the Kokkola-Pietarsaari–Arlanda route via Kramfors from Tuesday to Friday.

In addition to the new connection, the Amapola airline operates a route from Helsinki Airport to Joensuu.
