Heavy snowfall and strong winds are expected to cause delays from Friday through Sunday. The rest of the week might see a reduced number of flights. Passengers are asked to prepare for delays.

The number of arriving and departing flights may have to be reduced. Weather conditions and the reduced number of operations can cause delays and effect baggage handling processes. At Helsinki Airport, there can also be changes in the use of runways.

Finavia will do its best to keep the runways open and operations running smoothly.

The ground handling companies and airlines at Helsinki Airport will do their best to assure that aircraft de-icing and baggage handling processes run as well as possible. Fintraffic Air Navigation Services will make the decisions about the use of runways.

We kindly ask passengers to follow the information provided by their own airline. Real-time arrivals and departures are available on our website.

Restaurants at airports follow the current, corona-related restaurant restrictions. You can check the available services at here.
