Finnair: Purchased traffic to five of Finavia’s regional airports to continue until 2026

Finnair has announced that it will continue operating state-subsidised purchased scheduled flights to the airports of Kajaani, Kokkola-Pietarsaari, Kemi-Tornio, Jyväskylä and Joensuu until 28 March 2026.

Finnair has operated the routes tendered out by the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom to the five regional airports since autumn 2022. The airline announced in its press release that it will continue to fly the routes also during the extension period from 29 April 2024 to 28 March 2026.

Finnair will operate 10 weekly flights to Kajaani, 11 weekly flights to Jyväskylä, Joensuu and Kokkola, and 12 weekly flights to Kemi.

The routes are flown with ATR 72 aircraft operated by Norra.
