Finnair will launch direct flights from Helsinki Airport to Toronto, Canada, starting on May 4, 2026. Finnair last flew to Toronto Pearson International Airport in the summer of 2015.

“It’s great to see Finnair reconnect Helsinki Airport with Toronto after 11 years! At Finavia, we are actively working to improve Finland’s connectivity, and we are pleased that the new route starting next summer will further strengthen Helsinki Airport’s role as an important hub between Europe and North America”, says Petri Vuori, Senior Vice President, Sales and Route Development at Finavia.

The new route will operate three times a week during the summer season – on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays. In addition to Toronto, Finnair will also fly to New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Seattle during the summer of 2026.
