The airline Ryanair is making a historic investment in route connections to Rovaniemi Airport. This coming winter, the Irish low-cost carrier will operate a total of ten different routes to Rovaniemi.

– Ryanair’s commitment to tourism in Lapland is highly significant. Finnish winter and the stunning destinations in Lapland continue to grow in popularity. We are also pleased with the success of the year-round Rovaniemi–Milan route, which has supported Lapland’s year-round accessibility in a very welcome way, says Petri Vuori, Finavia’s Senior Vice President responsible for sales and route development.

Rovaniemi has been part of Ryanair’s winter route selection since 2022. In the upcoming winter season, Ryanair will operate 62 flights per week to Rovaniemi from ten different destinations. New routes will launch from Birmingham, Bristol, and Manchester in England, as well as Shannon in Ireland. Familiar winter routes from Brussels Charleroi, Dublin, Liverpool, London Stansted, Milan Bergamo, and Paris Beauvais will continue this winter as well. Ryanair will increase its London Stansted–Rovaniemi flights to daily service.

The airline emphasizes its commitment to supporting year-round tourism in Lapland, particularly by attracting travelers outside the peak seasons. Ryanair operates year-round flights to Rovaniemi from Milan Bergamo: twice weekly from April to October and four times weekly from October to March.

More information and tickets are available on the airline’s website.
