The new café is operated by Hanna and Petri Kangasoja, local entrepreneurs with extensive experience of restaurant operations in the Vaasa area. In addition to savoury and sweet baked goods, the café offers special coffees, refreshments and local beers, among other things.
"We are very happy that there is a new café serving customers at Vaasa Airport. It is important to us that the offering of the airport’s café takes into account the wishes and needs of passengers. According to passenger surveys, customer service is one of the strengths of Vaasa Airport, and the café and its personnel will continue to be an important part of this," says Heidi Mäkelä, Finavia's Airport Manager at Vaasa Airport.
The café’s opening times are based on flight departures.
