Finavia Corporation has today published its combined Annual Report and Corporate Responsibility Report in Finnish and English. The Annual Report includes a review of 2013 and financial statements for the financial period of 1 January – 31 December 2013.

The Annual Report also includes a Corporate Responsibility Report, intended for describing in closer detail and in compliance with the Global Reporting Initiative, the company's environmental activities, HR matters and financial result.

The contents of the Annual Report are based on Finavia's activities in 2013, and it discusses in closer detail the operating environment of the air traffic industry, Finavia's strategy, the airport network and Finavia's significance for Finnish society.

- Finavia and our operations make a big impact on Finnish society. That is why we recognise our responsibility and report our activities in a transparent manner. As part of the development of corporate responsibility, we have invested resources in our reporting and in dialogue with different stakeholders, because it is important that different actors are aware of the preconditions for airport and air navigation services, the operating environment and Finavia's way of producing services, says Communications Director Mikko Saariaho of Finavia.

In line with the Finnish Government's decision-in-principle regarding the owner policy of the Finnish state, State-owned companies are expected to produce a corporate responsibility report. Finavia reports its corporate responsibility at GRI Level B, which means that it produces an extensive report of its responsibility themes.
