Whatever the purpose of your trip, whoever you travel with, and whatever your schedule may be, you can find a suitable meal at Helsinki Airport's restaurants. They serve food from the early morning until late evening.

A good option for a quality quick bite for business travellers in a hurry could be Freshly Made's (Gate 27) smoked salmon sandwich and a bottle of water for EUR 8.90.

Freshly Made bakes all its bread on site and its specialty coffees are made from freshly ground coffee beans.

Sushi and champagne

For adults heading out for a city break, Two Tigers Sushi & Noodle (Gate 34) serves a fresh California sushi set (EUR 22.90) and a glass of champagne.

Two Tigers Sushi & Noodle is open around the clock, and their menu includes various kinds of Asian foods, from noodles to curries.

Sausages and burgers

If you are travelling with a group of friends, you can start your trip with a relaxed snack at Helsinki Sausage Company at Gate 37–38.

For a quick snack, why not try the sausages made by small Finnish producers (around EUR 7–8), whereas a hearty cheese and bacon burger (EUR 11.90) will sustain you on longer flights, too.

Tasty meals with children

A trip with kids could start from Terminal 1's Urban Food Market, for example, known for its sandwiches made on site and guaranteed to be fresh (from EUR 6.90).

One children's favourite is a turkey and cheese sandwich that goes well with freshly squeezed orange juice (EUR 4.30).

A delicious meal creates a great holiday feeling. Come and choose your own!
