Do you believe the air travel needs a shake-up? Do you have the vision and ambition to be part of the solution? Are you a skilled developer or designer?

If you answered yes to the above questions, we want you on board! Finavia, Finnair and Reaktor are organizing a hackathon event, where hackers and designers get their hands on changing the air travel.

The event, Aero Hack, will be organized in Suvilahti, Helsinki on 6-8 November.

For the first time ever, an airport in cooperation with an airline will provide the hackathon participants with data, APIs and everything they need to create the next generation of air travel services and products.

Charge your laptop and get on board

Gather your team and tell us about you and your vision for the future of travel. The most promising international developers, designers and entrepreneurs will be provided with flights and accommodation.

Hackathons are all about taking something you love, combining it with tech and learning something in the process. Aero Hack is part of a Hack Junction, which brings together hackers, designers, the best partners and hardware for one weekend of hacking.

The best teams will get to pitch their hacks on stage at the Slush conference on the 11th of November in front of a panel of investors. The winning team will take home a 20 000€ main prize.

Finavia and Helsinki Airport are exhibiting at Slush 11-12 November at a joint stand with Finnair.
