Finavia continues broadening the service selection at Helsinki Airport. The most recent newcomer is Burger King, opening two restaurants to the airport during spring and summer 2015.

The arrival of the world’s second biggest hamburger chain makes Helsinki Airport's service selection broader and more international.

One of the Burger King restaurants will be opened at Arrivals 2A lobby at terminal 2. Anyone visiting the airport has access to the lobby and therefore also to Burger King.

Finavia launched the renovation of Arrivals 2A lobby in autumn 2014. In addition to Burger King, other new restaurants will open at the area during spring.

The train connection from Helsinki city centre to the airport makes Burger King and other services, such as grocery store open 24/7, pharmacy, Alko and Starbucks, even easier to reach for anyone.

The train connection from Helsinki city centre to Helsinki Airport opening in July 2015 makes Burger King and other airport services, such as grocery store open 24/7, pharmacy, Alko and Starbucks, even easier to reach for anyone living near the train link.

With that being said, soon Helsinki Airport will be a place to arrive even if not going for a flight!

The other Burger King restaurant will be opened at the non-Schengen area of the airport.

The restaurants will be opened in cooperation with HMSHost.

Airport's service selection improves

Finavia has launched a 900 million euro development programme, aiming to strengthen Helsinki Airport’s strong position among the leading transfer traffic airports in Europe.

At the same time Helsinki Airport service selection will be completely renewed due to the most extensive service overhaul ever executed at the airport. Approximately 70 new or refurbished shops and restaurants will arrive at the airport.
