Czech Airlines commenced flights between Helsinki and Prague

Czech Airlines commenced flights between Helsinki Airport and Prague on 3 March. With the new flight connection, the number of weekly flights to Prague increases to 31 in the summer of 2016.

“We warmly welcome Czech Airlines to Helsinki Airport! Thanks to their new flights, the traffic to Prague almost doubles during the summer, which is a great thing for our passengers. It will be easier to travel to the capital of Czech Republic, located on the shore of the Vltava River, even for a weekend”, says Mikko Komi, who is responsible for the route development at Finavia.

The last time Czech Airlines flew between Helsinki and Prague was five years ago. The airline has announced that the flights will be operated with Airbus 319.

Prague is known for the Charles Bridge, the Prague Castle, Czech beer and the astronomical clock located in the Old Town Square.

Finnair and Norwegian are also flying from Helsinki Airport to Prague.

Passengers travelling from Prague to Helsinki benefit from Helsinki Airport’s great connections to Asia. In the summer of 2016, there will be a total of 17 flight connections to Asia. During the summer, Finnair will commence flights to Fukuoka in Japan and Guangzhou in China.
