Parking hall P1/P2 will be demolished as a part of the expansion of terminal 2 in Helsinki Airport.

The premium parking space, which was previously located in P1 is now in parking hall P3, on level 1. Parking hall P3 is located in front of terminal 1. Walking distance from P3 to terminal 2 is about 300 meters and to terminal 1 a few dozen meters. There's a tunnel that leads from P3's A-section to the terminals.

Premium parking is the first parking area when driving to the airport and it's also more likely to have free space than other parking areas. Parking spots are also available for pre-reservation, as well as for electric cars.

Parking hall P1/P2 was permanently closed 7 January 2019. As parking hall P1/P2 will be demolished, parking halls P3 and P5 as well as the parking space P4 will be serving customers. The changes are part of the expansion project of terminal 2, which aims to strengthen Helsinki Airport's place as the leading airport in Northern Europe.
