Norwegian’s Helsinki–Malta flights operate once a week, while the Helsinki–Bucharest route is flown twice weekly. The Bucharest flights began on June 3 and will continue until October 24. The Malta flights started on June 4 and will run until early August 2025.
Passengers on the inaugural flights were treated to chocolates, and Norwegian also awarded one passenger from each flight with a gift card. Additionally, passengers on the Malta flight received gift bags provided by Visit Malta.
The last direct route from Helsinki to Malta was in 2019, and to Bucharest in 2022.
