Responsibility
Helsinki Airport's Arrivals 2A lobby is being renovated. The arrival services area in luggage handover lobby Exit 2A will be renovated at the same time. Due to the renovation, there will be fewer arrival service desks available than usual. As a result, the area might become congested in exceptional circumstances and for example during the winter holiday season.

The renovation of the arrival services area at Exit 2A commenced in January 2015. The goal is to improve the functionality of the arrival services and to renew the facilities to meet the needs of growing passenger volumes.

During the renovation, there will be fewer arrival service desks available than usual. As a result, the arrival services might become congested in exceptional circumstances.

The renovation is estimated to continue until April 2015.

Towards a more functional and comfortable Arrivals 2A

The renovation of the Arrivals 2A started in November 2014. After the renovation, the range of services at the airport for arriving passengers will be broadened.

The arrival services will be centralised to make it easier for arriving passengers to do business at the airport or leave the airport. A new restaurant complex with a wide range of restaurants will also be opened in area.

The first stage of the renovation was the renewal of the front door near the Arrivals 2A in late 2014.

We aim to carry out all renovation work in a way that causes as little disturbance to airport customers as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience the renovation may cause.
