New Asian destinations from Helsinki Airport: Xi'an, China and Hanoi, Vietnam

Finnair opens today a direct route to Xi’an, a metropolis of about 8 million people located in central-northwest China. On June 15 Finnair opens another new route to the capital of Vietnam Hanoi.

Finnair is the first airline to offer a direct connection between Xi´an and Europe. There will be three flights per week from Helsinki Airport to Xi'an starting June 14 until the close of the summer season on October 26.

Finnair will become the only European airline to offer a direct connection from Europe to the capital of Vietnam with a population of 6.5 million. Finnair will offer service to Hanoi from Helsinki Airport with three flights per week until October 27.

During summer there are in total 13 Asian destinations from Helsinki Airport: In addition to Xi’an and Hanoi, Finnair operates to Bangkok, Beijing, Chongqing, Delhi, Hong Kong, Nagoya, Osaka, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo. Finavia aims to strengthen Helsinki Airport's position as the leading Northern European transit airport.
