The first ever direct scheduled flight between Helsinki and Marrakesh took off towards Morocco on Saturday, 4 November.

The first flight was celebrated at its departure gate at Helsinki Airport with a ceremony that Norwegian’s enthusiastic passengers boarding the flight took part in.

Morocco’s Marrakesh is a lively city that is both culturally and historically interesting. It is known for its numerous cafés, restaurants and medinas.

“We have noticed that Finnish people are increasingly interested in travelling. That’s why we are happy to announce that from this day on, passengers departing from Finland have the opportunity to take a direct flight from Helsinki to Marrakesh. At the same time, we get to add a new scheduled flight to our selection,” says Tuomas Ramdahl, Commercial Manager of Norwegian.

The new scheduled flight between Helsinki (HEL) and Marrakesh (RAK) is operated once per week on Saturdays, starting on 4 November.

Norwegian operates over 40 direct flights from Helsinki Airport.
