Qatar Airways is strengthening its global route network by reopening its service from Qatar’s capital, Doha, to Helsinki Airport.

The airline will launch flights to Helsinki with four weekly services starting on 15 July, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. From the beginning of August, the service will increase to daily flights with the addition of services on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The route will be operated with a Boeing 787‑8 aircraft.

Reopening Strengthens Helsinki Airport’s Long-Haul Connectivity

The return of Qatar Airways further reinforces Helsinki Airport’s position as a key hub in Northern Europe and expands its long-haul offering in particular. Doha serves as the airline’s global hub, providing passengers with seamless onward connections to destinations including Southeast Asia, Australia, and East Africa.

Qatar Airways is widely recognised for its extensive destination network and high-quality service. With the reopening of the route, Helsinki becomes part of Qatar Airways’ global summer network of more than 160 destinations worldwide.

Further information and tickets are available on the airline’s website.
