Swiss airline SWISS will launch more than 20 direct European routes in summer 2015. One of the new, long-awaited destinations is Helsinki.

SWISS will begin flights between Helsinki Airport and Zurich on 30 March 2015.

- Helsinki has been on our wish list for a long time, and we have faith in the potential of the route. What makes the route even more popular is that Helsinki Airport is one of the most pleasant airports in Europe, says SWISS Regional Manager Scandinavia & Finland Urs Limacher.

On the Helsinki–Zurich route, Limacher also trusts the appeal of both destinations.

- The city culture and nature of both Finland and Switzerland enable a variety of activities. Finns are attracted to the Alps, while Finland's sparsely populated countryside appeals to the Swiss. We will market Helsinki and Finland both directly to our customers and through the travel agencies and organisations throughout Switzerland.

From Helsinki to Zurich and back five times a week

SWISS' Airbus A320 will fly back and forth along the route five times a week. If necessary, the airline can increase the number of flights and start using a slightly larger aircraft, Airbus A321.

The airline offers quality flights at reasonable prices. It offers business class onboard all wide-bodied aircraft on every international route.
