Savonlinna Airport's runway reopened

Early on Tuesday morning, 7th of January, Airlink's plane landed out of the Savonlinna airport's runway. It was on a positioning flight and thus there was only the members of the crew on the plane. No injuries were happened.

The flights between Savonlinna and Helsinki were cancelled until the afternoon of 8th of January. The runway was reopened for the air traffic on Wednesday morning, 8th of January.

The Finnish Safety Investigation Authority leads the investigation and has announced that the runway was in a good condition. Now, other reasons will be investigated.
