Parking area P1 is intended for short-term parking and P2 for long-term parking
Parking at the airport can be paid via parking apps. This payment method makes traveling smoother, as there is no need for barriers, tickets, or queues at payment machines anymore.
- Park your vehicle and open the ParkMan / EasyPark / Moovy app.
- Confirm the start of your parking and set the end time.
- The parking fee will be charged based on the information you provide.
- If you want to shorten or extend your parking time, for example due to flight schedule changes, you can easily adjust the end time.
If you have not used a parking app before, download the app to your phone and register as a customer. The parking fee charged at the airport is the same regardless of the app used, but service fees may vary between apps. For more information, visit the app providers’ websites.
At Kuopio Airport, traditional prepayment machines are still available for passengers. They are located near the terminal’s exterior doors. Bank or credit cards are accepted at the machines.
Prices include VAT.
A parking fee must be paid for all vehicles parked in the parking area.
If you park for more than 24 hours, please select the daily rate. The minimum parking time in this case is always a full day.

Parking in the airport parking area is at your own risk.
Parking with a disabled parking permit
Wheelchair-marked spaces are located in front of the terminal. Place the parking permit inside the car in a clearly visible spot, for example under the windshield.
Electric Vehicle Charging
Electric car charging points are located at the north end of the P1 area, i.e., after entering P1, on the left at the very end of the area. The sockets are on the left, in the area between the exit barriers. Charging fee is EUR 0,25 per kWh + EUR 4 starting fee. The customer’s service provider may charge additional fees. Heated Parking Spaces
Both parking areas have a limited number of heated spaces. A heated space costs €15 per use, plus a €10 service fee per use. Payment is made at Finavia’s information desk before departure. Heated spaces cannot be reserved in advance. The use of an interior heater inside the car at a heated space is prohibited.
