Tapio Cafe brings Finnish ingredients and tastes, design and nature to the Helsinki Airport. A true experience for a foreigner visiting Finland.

You are surrounded by Finnish nature. Artist Teemu Järvi's bears look at you from the walls. You walk on granite floors and sit on renowned design company Artek's birch chairs. Outside, at the other side of the airport, is a real birch forest.

Our menu varies throughout the day to serve travellers' needs. In the morning try our freshly baked croissants, yoghurt or sandwiches.

Starting at lunch time, we offer various light options. Try a salad with traditional squeaky cheese called leipäjuusto and quinoa or reindeer meatballs with mashed potatoes. We even have tasty overnight oats. The products showcase Finnish small farm producers and leading brands.

Are you familiar with our specialties; special draught beer and a wide drink selection? If you come from abroad or host foreign people, ask our bartender about special Finnish drinks.

Staff is consistently rude. 1/3 coffees turned out how they were supposed to - which is great considering how overpriced the cafe is.

17,50 euros for a 18.7 cl bottle of white wine ?? That is excessive !! I didnt pay attention to the price when I chose it and of course, before I paid, the cashier was quick to open it.

Todella tyly palvelu, vaikka myyjä ei edes ollut suomalainen. Ruokailuvälineiksi tarjolla vain muovisia leluja.
