Santa Claus will visit the beautifully decorated Helsinki Airport almost every day in December. The airport has also two gift wrapping stations.

Finavia is an official partner of the Santa Claus Foundation. As a result of the cooperation that began in 2015, Helsinki Airport has been given a valuable title: Santa’s Official Gateway.

Meet Santa Claus and his elves

Santa Claus will be visiting Helsinki Airport before Christmas on an almost daily basis to greet passengers and bring them joy.

Santa Claus will be at the airport from 23 November to 25 December, from Monday to Saturday between 2 pm and 6 pm.

As of 1 December, Santa's helpers, with elf hats and Working for Santa badges, will be present at the airport. The elves will guide and entertain passengers, especially families with children, at the airport before departure.

Christmas deals and seasonal delicacies

Helsinki Airport's cafés and restaurants will provide traditional Yuletide treats before Christmas.

The shops will provide great Christmas deals and gift ideas for people of all ages.

Gift wrapping stations

In December, Helsinki Airport will have two gift wrapping stations: one at gate 28 and another mobile one in the non-Schengen area. You can bring gifts and souvenirs purchased at the airport to the stations for the elves to wrap free of charge.

The gift wrapping stations will serve passengers on 1 January – 25 December from Monday to Saturday between 1 pm and 8 pm.

In addition, the airport will provide surprise performances, such as choirs and other Christmas events, throughout December.
