The Dutch electronics store recently reopened its doors at Helsinki Airport. Make sure to leave a little space in your carry-on! 

Capi The Travellers Electronics Company recently reopened its store at Helsinki Airport. Offering travellers an exciting shopping experience, this addition to the Finnish hub’s overall offering combines the best brands and latest innovations. How familiar are you with Capi? Here are four fast facts. 

  1. Established in 1894,Capi has its headquarters in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. It is one of the founders of the Amsterdam Airport Shopping Center and has been active in airport retail since 1957. 
     
  2. In 1994, duringits centenary, Capi was granted the Royal predicate by her majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands. In principle, such honors are only bestowed on Dutch companies that have existed for more than 100 years. Even then, these groups must meet a wide array of exacting requirements. 

  3. Connoisseurs of electronic gadgets will be glad to know that the Capi Helsinki Airport store sells products by Scandinavian brands such as Hasselblad and Bang & Olufsen, among others. Aside from these, Capi also carries its own MiTone product range. Colorful, stylish, high quality and competitively priced, this line consists of portable speakers, computer accessories, headphones, earphones and portable gaming consoles – all created for discerning travellers.
      
  4. Capi is active with 35 shops in 10 airports throughout Europe and South Africa, and with franchise locations in Ukraine and China.

Monday - Friday: 5:00 am - 11:00 pm  
Saturday: 4:00 am - 8:30 pm 
Sunday: 4:00 am - 11:00 pm
