The travel experience is further supported by a number of great amenities, including plenty of charging points, a few sleep pods, free Wi-Fi, and quick connections to the city", the Guide writes on their website.

The Guide asked travelers to rate airports in Europe based on their overall airport experience on their website. Travelers ranked their experience based on several factors:

  • Comfort (Gate seating & availability of rest zones)
  • Services, facilities & things to do
  • Food options
  • Immigration/Security
  • Customer service
  • Cleanliness
  • Navigation and ease of transit
  • Sleepability

“I like it [Helsinki Airport] because it is clean and there is a little bit luxury in the air.” - Survey respondent

"This year, the airports voted onto the list of Best Airports in Europe highlight a range in traveller preferences. We see some larger European travel hubs that continue to delight passengers with creative amenities and smooth processes. We're also noticing an increase in the numbers and rankings of some smaller European airports[…] seems there is some real competition for who can claim and hang onto the title of Best Airport in Europe!", The Guide commented on their website.
