The inaugural flight on the new route will take place on January 31, 2026, and the service will continue until March 21, 2026, operating once a week on Saturdays. The route will be flown with an Airbus A320 aircraft.
This new route will further expand Eurowings’ already extensive network from Germany to Finnish Lapland for the upcoming winter season. In addition to Kittilä, Eurowings will also fly from Germany to Ivalo, Rovaniemi, Kuusamo, and Helsinki Airport next winter.
According to the Reiseanalyse 2024 study commissioned by Visit Finland, interest in Finland among German travelers is higher than ever. The analysis shows that as many as 3.5 million Germans are considering a holiday trip to Finland within the next three years.
Detailed flight schedules and tickets are available on the Eurowings website.
