The new Helsinki–Tromsø route will commence on 18 November 2026. Flights will operate twice weekly throughout the winter season, on Wednesdays and Sundays, until mid-March.
The new route expands Helsinki Airport’s route network and offers travellers a direct connection to Tromsø, a winter destination in Northern Europe that is growing in popularity. According to Norwegian, the destination continues to attract increasing numbers of visitors, particularly from Asia and North America. For many of these travellers, Helsinki Airport serves as a natural transfer hub for onward travel across Northern Europe. At the same time, the direct connection will improve accessibility in both directions, benefiting travellers, regional businesses and Finnish winter sports enthusiasts alike.
Norwegian’s new route further supports the expanding route offering at Helsinki Airport and strengthens the airport’s role as a gateway to Europe.
