More flights from Helsinki Airport to North America in summer 2016: Miami and Chicago

Finnair will increase flights to North America. In the summer of 2016, flights to Chicago will operate five times a week. Miami will be served by three flights a week year-round, starting in April.

Miami, one of Finnair's winter destinations since 2014, has been a favourite among Nordic customers. The city is a gateway between North and South America, featuring beautiful beaches, art deco architecture, shopping opportunities, culinary sensations, sports, and relaxing activities for both children and adults.

Miami will be Finnair's new summer destination as of April 2016, and Finnair will continue to operate flights to Miami year-round three times a week.

Finnair will fly to Miami on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays. American Airlines, Finnair's oneworld partner, offers excellent connections from Miami to the Caribbean and to Middle and South America.

Chicago will continue as Finnair's summer destination in the summer of 2016, and Finnair will fly there five times a week next summer; on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Chicago is famous for its architecture, sports teams, and shopping opportunities, and the city has also become a favourite destination of food enthusiasts. American Airlines offers excellent connections from Chicago to other parts of the United States.

Direct flights to Chicago and Miami are part of a North-Atlantic cooperation project between Finnair, British Airways, Iberia, American Airlines and US Airways. This cooperation connects Helsinki with dozens of cities in North America, from Vancouver to Charlotte, with just one stopover.
