Finnair will add three weekly flights for the Helsinki–Kuusamo route to their schedules for this summer. In addition to the current six weekly flights, Finnair will provide one new evening flight on summer Fridays and two new flights on summer Saturdays.

The new flights will be offered from Midsummer to the end of September. Tickets are already available for booking at the address: www.finnair.com.

Finnair’s Chief Commercial Officer Juha Järvinen states in a Finnair press release that the demand to Kuusamo has risen in winter seasons, particularly internationally. Visitor numbers increased considerably also during the summer of 2017. To increase the number of visitors during summer seasons is a joint aim of Finnair and tourism operators.

New flights between Kuusamo and Helsinki will improve, particularly, connections to Finnair’s European and Asian destinations and, at the same time, they serve domestic visitors.
