Baggage claim at Oulu airport.
Travel
Oulu airport starts to fill up with holidaymakers next week. We ask all passengers to arrive at the airport in good time from Thursday, 18 October to Sunday, 21 October.

Make sure you have enough time to drop off your luggage and go through security control. This gives you time to also do some shopping and relax at restaurants and cafes.

If the flight leaves before 10am between 18 and 24 October, passengers can check in their baggage already the previous evening between 7-8pm.

Travel with ease, even in the busiest times: Pack correctly

When packing, see our instructions to check what you can bring in your hand baggage, what you can put in the cargo hold and which items you are not allowed to take on board at all.

Please remember that mobile phones and backup power sources for laptop computers, i.e. power banks, must be packed in your hand baggage. Do not pack them in luggage going into the cargo hold, because they will have to be removed.

Go to forbidden item search

On our website, you’ll find services for families with children and instructions for unaccompanied minors.

If you travel through Helsinki Airport, check the timetables and terminal information on their website.

Parking prices start at EUR 54 a week

If you arrive by car, you can get to know the parking areas and prices in advance.

There are three parking areas at Oulu Airport right in front of the terminal. The most affordable one-week-parking price is 54 euros at P2.

On P1 and P3 areas the parking price includes the possibility for warming cable connection and charging an electric car.
