The new connection between Amsterdam Schiphol and Kittilä Airport will enhance KLM’s presence in Finland. The route will open on 23 November 2025 and operate until 22 March 2026. Flights will be operated once a week on Sundays with a Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
In addition to the new Kittilä route, KLM will also expand its offering to Rovaniemi: flights from Amsterdam will increase from three to four times a week during the winter season – on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
“We are pleased with KLM’s decision to strengthen its connections to Lapland. The new route and the increased frequencies on existing ones support regional tourism and offer international travellers even better opportunities to experience Finland’s unique winter,” says Petri Vuori, Senior Vice President of Sales and Route Development at Finavia.
In addition to Lapland, KLM also operates flights to Helsinki Airport. For travellers departing from Finland, KLM’s route network offers extensive connections worldwide via Amsterdam Schiphol.
