Polish airline LOT Polish Airlines will launch a new direct scheduled flight from Warsaw to Rovaniemi Airport next winter. This marks the first-ever scheduled flight connection from Poland to Finnish Lapland, and it is also the only direct route between Poland and Lapland announced for the winter season.

“It’s great to see Lapland’s route network expanding into new market areas in Europe. LOT’s new connection to Warsaw is a fantastic opening! The new route strengthens Lapland’s accessibility and offers travelers even better connections from Central and Eastern Europe to Finland,” says Petri Vuori, Senior Vice President of Sales and Route Development at Finavia.

The route between Rovaniemi and Warsaw Chopin International Airport will be operated twice a week from late November to early February. The new connection will be served by a 186-seat Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

Currently, LOT does not operate flights to any other airports in Finland, making this a significant entry into the Finnish market.

Exact flight schedules and tickets are available on the airline’s website.
