Air France returns to Helsinki Airport after 20 years

As from 6th of July Air France will re-start flights from Helsinki to Paris offering smooth connections to Paris, to France and to the rest of the world.

We are happy to be able to offer our customers flights between Finland and France again. The first Air France flight departs the 6th of July and we will offer 4 weekly flights until 19th of July. After that we offer a daily flight to Paris. We believe that as soon as restrictions are lifted our Finnish customers will be happy to fly with us to Paris and onwards.” says Gijs van Popta, General Manager at Air France KLM North Europe.

Europe is gradually opening up again and to support the gradual recovery in travel expected over the summer period, Air France is increasing services to Finland. The flight between Helsinki and Paris is operated by Airbus A319 on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 6th of July to 18th of July. As from 19Jul Air France will offer one daily flight. As from today all flights from Helsinki to Paris are bookable online at airfrance.fi

We see that the interest for travel is increasing week over week. Travellers are mainly looking for European destinations, which is why it is now a perfect time to restart flights from Helsinki. We know that both Paris and France are very popular destinations for our Finnish customers and as soon as countries open up for travelling again the search volumes are quickly increasing » says Gijs van Popta, General Manager at Air France KLM North Europe.
